A brief introduction to the border security agency of the United States of America

Within the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, or CBP, protects our nation's borders from terrorism, human and drug smuggling, illegal migration, and agricultural pests while simultaneously facilitating the flow of legitimate travel and trade.

As the nation's single unified border agency, CBP's mission is vitally important for the protection of the American people and the national economy. Nearly 44,000 CBP employees work in a variety of ways to secure the nation's borders both at and between the official ports of entry and also to extend our zone of security. Employees continually incorporate the core values of vigilance, service to country, and integrity into their actions.

  • ITs called being understaffed, and underfunded. You cant hate CBP for the illegals that get in, because they dont have alot to work with until recently. Blame congress really.

  • Really???? Those same "hard workers" also smuggle people, drugs, weapons, and money!

  • really good video! Thanks for sharing :)

  • CBP agent, because college said "fuck you."

  • This is fear mongering. 1.2 million arrests. Can you even imagine the cost to the yankee taxpayer.

  • @ManicPatriot1988 I never said I hated the CBP. I don't know where you got that from. The agents do their jobs only as well as the brass let them and we all know the brass are in the pockets of the treasonous globalist traitor politicians and other assorted NGOs.. I think the CBP& BP agents are KICK ASS and I support them all the way. THE BORDER PATROL ROCKS!!!!!!!!

  • I cross the US Border 3-4 times a year into New York state and I've never had a problem with a CBP Officer. They've always been professional. As long as you have a passport and no criminal record and make them feel safe (ie. roll the window down, look in their eyes when answering and keep your hands visible) than you shouldn't have a problem. Remember that you don't have the right to enter any foreign country, it's up to the Customs officials to determine if you can enter.

  • Does anyone have a link for US Customs?

  • they do a great job... that's why it took me 2 minutes to cross the border

  • I have very bad experiences with CBP, they treated me with no respect i have been treated like as i was a criminal, i did my best to understand that their doing their job but why they have to be rude and intimidating, however not all of them infact the person who was treated me was on training.. he was kind of showing up that he is incharge...

  • hahahaha compassion and dignity??? Not all the time. Sometimes the abuse and use their power to harrass. I understand that's their job, but do they have to be rude? They risk their lives and do a great job but they could be more compassionate and professional.
