HuffPost Editor: Fox News Is 24/7 Campaign Against Obama Admin

A panel on "Reliable Sources" discusses the White House's ongoing war with Fox News Channel.

Nico Pitney, national editor of The Huffington Post asks, "If the Republican National Committee had a television network, how would it be any different?"

"Fox News is the voice of the opposition," he continues. "By and large, the network is a 24-hour campaign against the Obama administration."

"This is such a big story, other networks have to cover it," says Amanda Carpenter of The Washington Times.

And Jane Hall, a contributor to Fox News for over a decade, said of the White House's isolation of Fox: "I don't think this a good strategy for the Obama administration," she told Howard Kurtz. "I think they look like whiners."

Hall adds that she left Fox News because there was "less debate than they used to." "But how much debate is there on MSNBC?" She also said that Glenn Beck's language is "over the top" and that also partly contributed to her leaving Fox News.

It's already been proven that the distance between Fox opinion and news is often very slight. Fox news reporters often cite expert opinions without making specific citations and it turns out the expert opinion is simply the opinion of Beck or O'Reilly. There has been many videos and articles analyzing Fox bias in great detail. It's been proven beyond a doubt that Fox is a Republican propaganda network.
