This is our first attempt at melting aluminium. Due to escaping heat we had to seal the box with some sand we had handy..

  • @consistentbass ok now i understand being nice but seriously. how much insight did you really get from 21 seconds of shaky filming.

  • you should just drop all 1;2;3... to movie maker and make one longer vid. :) looks nice.

  • is the person holding the camera an epileptic?or just having a seizure?

  • the metal is burnt because you do not have enough air to feed the fire.

  • awesome I had tried melting aluminum for so long without satisfactory results.Most of the time it ended burnt up. I was aware of the problem but I it was unclear to me how to solve it. Now with some insight on the design on your device I can melt and cast my own aluminum pieces. Thanks for sharing your skill, knowledge, and experience.
