When Vince Taylor was asked who was the first rock 'n' roller to wear black leathers - him or Gene Vincent? He replied "It was Terry Dene".

Good old Terry, down to earth and totally brilliant, a better rocker than Cliff and Billy put together.

Love this guy. Met him at an r&r concert in the 80's, and he gave me and my friends a lift home and then came in and sat with us playing old 78's. A fantstic memory of Terry.
