those students could make those repairs for a couple of dollars.
a small price to pay for free college.
whereas in america most people cant afford to pay tuition while living at home.
i guess the right wing media wants to try to somehow put france's free higher education in a bad light so that americans dont start demanding free higher education.

The reason for all this is very easy: the lie of costless higher education for everybody. Let those bastards pay five times more and they'll get a good shower. The state of this shower actually represents quite well the state of the whole quality of France's universities.
