REI Camp Dome 2 Tent Overview

Video walk through of the Camp Dome 2 (not Half Dome 2) tent from REI, costs about $90 and is light and very easy to set up. Probably takes 1 person about 2-3 minutes to set it up. A great buy. Just a little tight in there if you have 2 people and packs/gear, etc.

Used to great effect at Cloudland Canyon St. Park on a 39 degree F night.

you should fold ground tarp under tent so water doesnt get under your tent and get your stuff wet.

Thanks. Just got one from REI and was surprised with the quality and the pricetag. I was expecting much less for the price at a not so heavy load.

I got this tent from my wife for my birthday, and I love it!!But, I've had 5 people sleep in this tent!! 3 were on an air mattress, and 2 on the ground in sleeping bags. A little cramped, but cozy!! Easy set up, durable, looks good, and didnt cost a ton of money!! Great tent!!

Is this a heavy tent to carry? on REI.com it says about 5lbs 6oz packed weight. I was just wondering when actually out in the back country does it feel heavy?
