This is a video response to KarensFaith's video "Fallen Part 6 Cover-ups in archaeology part 1" The entire text of this is from an article called "Archaeological Coverups" by David Hatcher Childress from a magazine called Nexux . She credits a quote in the video to him, which is I suppose giving credit. I still cry foul and plagiarism. Childress article here: http://www.onelight.com/hollow/giant/canyon.html

Please watch original video before this one! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29t5tENhICs&feature=channel

Anyway, the video provides a series of supposed giant remains that were found and subsequently covered up by the Smithsonian as they would prove the Bible. I go through each of these and show how ridiculous they are.

Death Valley giants based on a 1947 news clipping, no other evidence!

Spiro Mound You mean Spiro Mounds, specifically the Craig Mound. Lots of skeletons and artifacts, no giants, no suit of armor, no cover-up, well studied and documented.

Crumf Cave Article says giant stone coffins, actually these were made of wood. Cave is actually called "Crump Cave", misspelling in original Childress article, misspelling is a good way to trace cut and paste 'research'. Coffins, if that is what they are, were 7.5' long, normal coffin sized for an adult, normal human skeletons strewn around coffins (suspected from earlier looters). Again, well documented, no giants, no coverup. I googled "Crump Cave Coffins" for the original 1893 report from Google Books

Shemya Island Giants Entire story from Ivan T Sanderson's 1967 book "Things". He tells about receiving a letter from a woman whose son supposedly found these giant bones. Sanderson's follow-up revealed no one else who was there remembering any giant human bones (although the did remember finding mammoth bones, human bones, and carved artifacts). Sanderson concluded that the story was false. Obviously these 'researchers' didn't read to the end of the account (more likely they did, but how is the truth any fun?)

Acambro Long discredited and falsified. Di Peso studied these in 1954 (Di Peso 1953 The clay figurines of Acambaro, Guanajuato, Mexico. American Antiquity 18(4): 388-389). Video claims that Di Peso's debunking consisted of 4 hours total examination of the 30,000 artifacts. This is a lie, he spent 4 weeks studying them. He found multiple evidences that they were recent. For example, although all were broken, not even a chip was missing from the broken edges on ANY of them. The artifacts lacked the etching on the surface found in legitimate artifacts from the region. In one example the dirt pressed onto it had a recognizable thumbprint in it!. Finally, he visited the site and shows that all of the artifacts were recently buried and compares it to an undisturbed site nearby.

  • Awesome video.

I have flame-warred incessantly with this creationist tard. I sent him a vid debunking the arrant nonsense of flood geology, and he countered with a torturous hour-long video about the fraudulent Acamboro (sp?) figurines.

I told him, straight up ''Not buying it, bud'' and shared with him part 2 of ''Debunking Noah's Flood.''

  • Are you referring to Karensfaith or another user? Karen is a she.

  • Thanks for debunking the nonsense that she removed before we could see it. This takes time and effort, unlike the plagiarist who is too intellectually lazy to check their sources. A 20'ft human? And I thought I had back problems.

  • There are bigger problems with a 20' human than back problems. What about the weight of liquids (read blood) having to pump from feet to head. Animals such as giraffes have solved this problem, but with a very different morphology than humans. This guy would had to lie down pretty much 24/7 or suffered brain death. And In my followup vid I reproduce her text exactly (she had no pics or anything) so you can see what she said.

  • I've been votebot'd again, so I re-uploaded most of my videos and was wondering if you could help rate/comment them?

  • Of course I will!

  • Biblical archaeology is one of those fields that drives me completely nuts. If you've ever watched "The Naked Archaeologist", but that guy Simcha Jacobovici makes me sick. He will pick out the 1% (exaggerated statistic I kn ow) of archaeologists that agree with his claims that everything he finds is proof of shit that happened in the Bible. Then he makes the other 99% look like fools.

  • Whenever I search here for "anthropology" or "archeology" its polluted by pseudoscience and christian archeology vids. Its deeply sad to see so many buy into this garbage; especially when a lot of people like me want to learn more about the real thing.

  • Nice video, actually the other day I came across this giants thing, tough was interesting, maybe they found a particular group that grew taller during some period, that would be very interesting, and wanted to check the sources, most of them being a big let down

But here is my question, beside medical cases of gigantism in human remains, is there any case you know of "giant" humans remains? or witch ones are the biggest healthy human remains found to date?, thanks

  • boy, you should script your videos before you make them. although the content is interesting, listening to this is hurtful.

please look at videos by cdk007, aronra, potholer54, thunderf00t and see how they prepare their videos when they debunk creationist material.

  • Archaeology is not the best paid profession. If I found anything that these cretards claim are being covered up I'd perform the most stringent recording, dating and verification of these finds. I'd be a bloody millionaire on the back of them. Why do these morons think we'd cover them up and then head out to the field to do the shovel work that is involved in real archaology? Do they think we like being cold, wet and muddy?

  • I am not talking about Karen, I am talking about a man, but I am not mentioning his name, because that prick's videos don't get too many views, and I refuse to give him the publicity that he so craves.

  • Thanks for your great vids, arthrododiphile. In your response you left me hanging: How DO giraffes solve the problem of blood flow? It didn't occur to me that (vertical) size, ie gravity, effects morphology, but your example makes it clear. You're a great teacher.
