When they added another deck on the aft section of Veendam during its recent dry-dock, it changed the lines of the ship, though not too much to spoil the sleek look of the S-class ships.

  • Looks like the classic back end of a Fincantirie built ship, am I wrong?

  • @101HeyNow You are right! HAL's fleet are built by the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard in Italy.

  • I like it a lot! And if you guys dont agree then dont bother responding.

  • i agree, lol at "high fat ass"

  • She's now got a high fat ass like the new Eurodam. Most refits like these spoil the original good lines of any ship. I can't think of one passenger ship that benefitted externally (other than increasing revenue) from these types of additions.

  • Thanks fore sharing. I don't agree with you in the up most respect. I think the ruined here profile. Why not added the decks in the manor as with the Amsterdam, Zaandam and Volendam. That would not ruined here profile. Sometimes I cannot understand managers and naval architects who came up with such solutions.
