How does the Sh4 JB react in basswood?
Would you recommend it over let's say... A dimarzio x2n?
Grettings from Croatia :)

Well, i have to say that the JB 4 it's very well balanced, it's a very veristale pickup, you can use it for any kind of music i would say, but it's best if you use it for hard rock, rock, metal... Altought, if you use it for metal, you will have to add more bass from the amp, becouse the JB4 isn't very bassy pickup. I had the x2n in my guitar. It's a very powerful pickup with high output, and very sharp sound, perfect for any kind of metal (thrash, death, heavy).

@markop222
So would you say Dimarzio or Duncan for Metallica playing?
How's the clean on the Dimarzio?
So you used Duncan on the neck, and x2n on the bridge?
How do Dimarzio and duncan go together?

@illeagle7
For Metallica, i would chose the x2n, becouse its powerful, and has high output, actualy one of the highest outputs. Perfect for metal. Clean is ok. I used both on bridge. On neck, i still have the original pickup that was in the guitar. I havent used both at the same time.
