  • Nice demo, thanks for posting!!. can a musician use this mic on its insturment(such as a flute) while playing during a live performance if the mic is attach securely on the mouth piece of the insturment??

  • @knowledgeispowerfful I haven't actually tried it with an instrument, but since it is a small condenser I would think it would do very well. I use similar higher end mics for that kind of application and it works very well. As always, placement of the mic on the instrument is everything....and should be experimented with. Hope that helps.

  • is there a clip on microphone (one that clip on to your shirt) that's cheap and let's me hook up to my computer...please respond ;)

  • That's exactly what this is....a small, clip on microphone.

  • would this pick up say both voices of a convosations between 2 people talking 5 feet or less away from eachother

  • Sounds like an ok mic for the price but the omni-directional pickup pattern seems to be picking up a lot of room reverb. I just ordered an Audio Technica AT831b a few days ago and should be getting it soon....I think it's a far better mic as it is directional but the price is also quite a bit higher.

  • Excellent review, mate ;)

  • Your sound quality is shocking, you have all these pops and crackles !

  • So you definitely endorse this mic? It's pretty affordable at $25-40 at Amazon!

  • Thanks.

  • I am a drummer and I am wondering if I can use a lapel mic for singing backup live. A mic on the side limits my motion and I really don't want to use a headset.

    Thanks

  • If i needed lets say, to record sound from a distance wirelessly using this lapel mic. What else would i need?

  • We need 3 mics at three stations in a large carpeted room, about 40' by 40'. An amp/mixer and mic on the S side of the room, centered, and a mic on the E and W ends of the room. The mics on the E and W will have cable runs a distance of 50+ feet . The mics will be used infrequently. The powered mixer is aBehringer PMP 2000. A music shop recommended Audix OM2, but we can't handhold. Do you think the ATR-35S can do the job? Got a better suggestion?

  • Hello, I am also a musician, I play the accordion. I was thinking about buying an Audio-Technica ATR-35S for use in presentations. I wonder if you think this mic would be good for performances on stage? Thank you for your attention
