Opening gala of SC09 in Portland, Ore. at the NVIDIA booth. NVIDIA gave a group of computational researchers, who are using CUDA-based GPUs in their work, an opportunity to display their research posters for press and other show attendees. The impact that GPU Computing is having in this space is incredible and a lot of the excitement behind it was felt at the NVIDIA booth this evening. Wed like to thank all of the posters that participated keep up the awesome work!

  • @akelaristera Do u know how much the 5970 is going to be?

  • nvidia is waiting for all the older graphics cards to be sold out by nvidia and then they release their new cards? thats what i heard

  • Come on Nvidia, ATI is about to release the 5970 which peaks at 4.64 Teraflops.

in single Fermi we've seen Nvidia to claim 3Teraflops

If the comersial use Gt3xxx Fermi architecture GPU from Nvidia can utilize programmable CUDA executions that will benefit Nvidia a lot.

  • 2 Fermi's = over a terra flop of double precision performance this means we are now truly entering the age of wide scale commercial terra Scale computing and we can throw those gilomat and gilomaniac hat away and replace them with teraomat and teraomanic ones instead.
