yayFOOD is all about calorie cycling, this is where you are eating less calories overall but constantly shifting the calories you eat each day so your body never has a chance to adapt, think of it as interval training for your diet, you trick your body to stop it getting used to your diet.
So what do you get? Well currently it is a monthly membership which gives you access to some downloadable reports, articles, calulators etc (see next section for detailed breakdown).
The core of the course is a 15 page pdf describing exactly how to follow the diet, and then you can use things like the recipe library and meal plans to help you make sure you stick to your daily calorie allocation. It also gives you a calculator which works out how many calories you need to eat to lose weight and then gives you a random 7 day calorie allocation to follow in accordance with the diet guidelines.
There are lots of nice features on the site like a goal setting system which emails you daily to remind you of what you said it will feel like to achieve the goal, but the site does not look like it is regularly updated so while the core system for $4.95 is excellent value then we are not sure about staying on as a member longterm. You do get a forum and access to a panel of coaches for support, but the forum is not that active.
You look great! I've been researching calorie shifting(aka cycling, zig zag etc.) and I understand the concept but confused on some things. Every website I go on that talks about this technique does it differently! Some say alternate between high and low on a day to day basis. Others say go 5 days low and then 2 days high, others say just eat your maintenance as usual but have 2 consecutive low days! which is it??? How long till the body's metabolism will reset itself??
