I think we should resist the commercial temptation to make trance a mainstream genre. It was never meant to be that way. Back in the late 90s, when I was growing up, trance was the preserve of connoisseurs and enthusiasts. And the artists recognised that; we understood them and they understood us. Now you have teenagers who can't recognise the difference between trance and Lady Gaga. Not the musical difference, but the different purpose and spirit of the music.

Sorry for such a late reply. "Genres". Makes sense now. But now the whole meaning of the intro becomes clear. Trance must re-unite, instead of splitting into more genres and sub-genres and stuff. Quite touching, really.
