Another great Les Nemes bassline. I love this song. It's so easygoing and free flowing. It gets in your head but it doesn't bug you.

Note: I played the last part a bit wrong. I can't explain it very well in writing but just listen to the original and you'll hear. It's not a very difficult variation to figure out. It should be a root-fifth-octave phrase.

Thanks to "BIg J" for helping me film this thing.

This time around I didn't have my ProTools rig handy so what the camera heard is what you get. The sound is not refined as my other videos. You can hear some nasty camera microphone compression at times. Still, the groove is there and the song is not that hard so get to it!

  • This was my favorite cut from that album. Nice work!!!!!

  • @ATS68 - There are a lot of gems on that brilliant album. I hope they'll come to America and tour this time around!

  • Hey Zuma,

I see lots of new basses on here now - have you won the lottery or sold off some of the older ones!? ;-)

  • Ha! I certainly haven't won the lottery. I would started my own "bass only" YouTube! I am fortunate enough to have quite a few basses.

  • cool good job.why dont you try love plus one??

    Plus you rock!!!

  • Mint vid mate!!!! Love that bass ur playing!

  • You should do some Spandau Ballet. "To cut a long story short" and "I can't take this pressure". You're good. Keep up the good work.

  • I enjoy your video more than any other of the demonstrations out there. The Rio video probably my favorite...Keep up the good work.

  • I actually agree with you. I'm not much of a slapper and I'm relatively new to 5 string as well. Also, the audio on this one wasn't recorded separately as in my other videos. Les is the man!
