some voices fit this song and some others no. but instead i like andrew in this song.
-
eddie saves the day
-
but he has a good high note, which i neglected to mention
-
i dont think it is possible to fuck up the first verse to this song as bad as he did
dont get me wrong, he's not a bad singer at all, but i dont like wolfmother either
-
Andrew did a great job. Do you guys realize how hard this song is to sing?
-
it probably wouldn't have been bad if he hadn't rushed his phrasing during the first verse. would have solved the tuning problem as well i think.
-
It's not bad, it's not good, it's just descent. I'll leave it at that.
-
he just had no idea about the timing thats all, sounded like he'd never heard the song before
-
clearly not the right person to sing cornell's part. he sounds like absolute trash.
lol. Well never fear, if we ever have bombs dropped over our towns and cities we can always use Andrew's Voice as an Air Raid Siren. I've never been a fan of Wolfmother and its pretty tedious melodies but I think this is a pretty disasterious cover especially from a song that requires a certain...grit in the vocal department.

clearly stockdale was not the right person for the part. he struggled on the timing on the fist verse, couldn't hit the right notes in it and then came in too early for the harmony. he could hit the high notes but unlike cornell could not hold them for very long making it disappointing. vedder completely outclassed him too. however, that was probably the best i have heard stockdale sing that song; the version he did in australia with cornell was absolutely diabolical! and i am a wolfmother fan!
