Presto Berklee Student Project

This is the result of a semester long project done by two students at Berklee College of Music. Our job was to strip the video of its original audio and completely come up with out own audio track. We chose the Pixar short Presto. We performed and recorded the ADR and Foley, we organized, placed, and edited all the sound effects. We hired a student in the Filmscoring major to score our project, we recorded all live instruments and mixed the final music track. Finally, we created a 5.1 mix, and a separate stereo mix that you hear here. Enjoy!

hey this was really great. You know you did a good job when you get lost in the actual clip and not pay attention to the audio! haha but yea you really did a great job with the effects and everything sounds really pro!!!!! the only negative i have to say is that the instruentation on the music sounds very digital-- like not real instruments but i guess that is the programs fault not yours...anyways GOOD LUCK and post some videos!!!

Ah yes the music. We did not have access to a full orchestra for the session, all the musicians we DID have for the original lineup backed out on us. We augmented the violin, trumpet, clarinet and snare tracks with real instruments. Everything else IS digital sadly. I guess that is a lesson though, you don't always get what you need, so you might as well make do with what you have. Thanks for the comment! :)

wow awsome version, the orchestra seens fine to me, but the artificial part ppls seens to notice kinda comes from the violins choir (ut the individual violin is perfect, so as the others) and this short looks like Pixar version of "portals" xDDDD
