FYI. There is NOT a travel concierge here at AmEx. There is a seperate concierge department that does things like dining and even tickets, but they DO NOT book travel. You have to call a travel department here at American Express to book travel. A lot of customers are getting that confused and it may be videos like this that is creating the confusion.

Visa is lying when it says the top 1% of the u.s. can get the card. I'm a college student with very little money and I got a preaproved card In mail (I didn't even sign up for one) there handing them out like candy...

@gravtex Thanks a lot. There's just so many departments at American Express and customers get confused and frustrated. I don't think it's your fault though...it's just a combination of things.

and also, FYI, my dad has the centurion and like you said "that it pays off that you spend 2500 a year", thats wrong, whenever you call the concierge, they charge you high fees for using it =)
