This WWGN Report is about CREATIVE INSPIRATION at the Rogers Chinese Lantern Festival currently running until October 12th, 2008 at Ontario Place in Toronto, Ontario - full details can be found here - http://www.ChineseLanternFestival.ca

Now running in its 3rd year, it is the largest Chinese Lantern display in North America and one of the largest outside of China. Chinese artisans and craftsmen have spent the last few months putting together the beautifully creative displays - 32 in all - celebrating a world of animals, dinosaurs, and marine life, as well as a glimpse at some of the world's architectural wonders.

It truly is an amazing and inspiring sight to see in person! I had the opportunity to at the VIP opening night and put together this video for a taste of what you can expect to see - enjoy!

  • festivals plays importatnt role in everyone-s life

  • Great video and music too. I haven't been down to this event but, I plan to because I am Chinese and Canadian born. I did attend the Chinese Lanterns in Montreal a couple of years ago when I was on business. I should put those pics together into a video. This Rogers' festival was amazing. Thanks for sharing.

  • I liked the music =)

  • Having been to the Festival over the past three seasons, it has never disappointed. This year's show was magnificent. On the south shore, just before sunset, the sky was golden and to me the exhibits resembled flowing lava. I experienced the longest sensation of serendipity in my whole life and I'm almost fifty years old! The martial artists and gymnasts' performances were just beautiful as well. Thank you for this video and allowing me to relive that wonderful evening!

  • I saw the chinese lantern festival they had last year, also at Ontario Place, but this year's looks so much better.

  • Hey my friend...thanks for bringing this to the table...great work and ill see you soon.

  • Terrific and very well put together. The music is quite authentic and blends in well together with the whole atmosphere of the Festival. (I did find the insert of the CSI Miami "sound" that happens when Horatio puts on his sunglasses, very witty!) Excellent work Savage! You should be proud!
