There *can* be more than one plane with the name Berkut in the world.
And the Russian plane you're referring to *is not* a fighter. It's an FSW research plane. Read more, post less.

It is a Berkut not bearkut, and its Russian not russhian. This is a homebuilt aircraft called a Berkut designed by Dave Ronneberg and Kerry Beresford in the early 90's. You should research before commenting. It makes you look smarter.

@Duckworth17 I'm familiar with the advantages, what are the disadvantages of Canards? The ones I've heard sound more like "if you put a canard on a conventional aircraft with no other modifications it won't work right" Which is true... but for a clean sheet canard design rather beside the point. The advantages (in a good design) like complete resistance to spin seem too good to pass up for GA aircraft.

ALL designs have pro and con to them....So, instead of learning all about the plane, the James Bond thing is is what you see. And like a ton of other vids, hyping the airplane. Meaning, if you look at the camera angles of the video, it gives the impression of trying really hard to impress....impress...impress everyone.
Canards are interesting. There are advantages....and there are disadvantages associated with them.

Any of you guys heard of Burt Rutan ? This thing looks way too much like his vari-eze and long -eze from the 70's. Screams copy cat.
