Wollumbin is so unique that it supports an ecosystem unto its own - no other forest of its kind exists anywhere in the world. It is the last refuge of ancient rainforest from a time when Australia was part of the pre-historic super-continent, Gondwanaland. Wollumbin is a sacred place of great significance to the people of the Bundjalung Nation. It is a traditional place of cultural law, initiation and spiritual education.
This video features Tjupurru as an invited guest performer at the Wollumbin Festival.
The area around Mt Warning is indeed beautiful, but the dual naming is disputable.

Mt Warning is not Wollumbin. The Mountain to the North east of Mt Warning was named Mt Wollumbin in 1974 after National Parks Anthropologists studied real aboriginal elders. The name was removed by people pretending to be aboriginal Elders of the Tweed. All history books are false.
