why the fuck do people always use this stupid ass song for videos!!!???

Hey, I'm a Toyota Master Tech. The low oil pressure is just fine as long as it rises with engine rpm. Toyota's typically run 4-7 psi of oil pressure at idle when at operating temp. Testament to tight engine tolerances.

I have a 96 Toyota T100 V6 2wd 5 manual transmition has 130 000 milles on it, I bout it new in november 1995, the only problem a had was bad stated at 80 000 milles, I put a new one and did timming belt watter pump and termost at that time, just now the 02 sensor is going out.
I think it will go for another 15 more years. hope : )

i have a 94 t100 and the oil pressure goes to high when cold and at an idle (duh) but when warm and goin down the highway at like 2500 rms it has like at the very end of the low end of the gauge and doesnt change when the rpms go down. motor has 318,000 miles on it. any suggestions??

I have a T100 that does the same thing. It's perfectly normal.

If you get a P0441 check engine light, Toyota VSV part 25860-75100 is the likely culprit. Iridium IX plugs are my favorite, 120K plus miles on them, to heck with the plug warning choice label - they did not make NGK iridium back then. The BELTEC 1 inch front sway bar is nice when paired with Bilstein shocks on 2wds. K&N filters, air and oil are great purchases. Avoid the TOYOTA SUPERCHARGERS i

Nothing wrong, read your owners manual. I remember purchasing my 97 T100 SR5 new in 1997, my buddy bought a new Dodge instead. He said your Toy doesn't have enough oil in it, or the oil pressure is to low. After investigating/reading my Toyota owners manual he was silent. He was then amazed to see the shims where TOYOTA JAPAN actually aligned the drive train, his Dodge was not so lucky!

Its perfectly normal for these trucks. My 96 does the exact same thing. As long as you keep your oil changed and dont forget to change your timeing belt, that engine will run for ever. Mine has 224,000 miles on it and it runs as good as the day I bought it.

At Idle my old 88 v6 4runner has low oil pressure, but it builds with the RPMs. Most Toyotas do that. Our 01 Sequoia does the same.

Don't worry buddy, my "97" 3.4 has been running like that for 378k and NEVER a problem. Just drive it and be proud that you own one of the best trucks on the planet built by the best most successful manufacturers in the world!!!
i have a 94 and mine stays low as yours AT IDLE but goes much higher when i rev it.could respond with a video if you want.and i was worried mine was low.i know low engine oil or even the wrong weight oil can cause this.if that is in check sounds like you may need to drop the oil pan and replace the pump.i may do the same eventually.

How much higher does your truck go when you rev it? 1/2? 3/4? Post a video response when you get the chance.
