I have been trying much harder to keep all my foods that I prepare at home as natural as possible. I also want to keep my foods low in sodium and sugars and of course fat and cholesterol. Many have been switching to artificial sweeteners to avoid the sugars and added calories but is there a price to pay for avoiding the sugars and calories? Seems like every sugar alternative has a good side and a bad side. If you were consuming these sugar substitutes I am sure you would like to know about any harms it could cause whether it will be short term or over a course of many years of usage. If you want to be on an all natural diet and like sweets then you need to avoid table sugars, sucralose, maltodextrin, corn syrup, saccharin, aspartame, and other artificial sweeteners that may have harmful long term or short term effects on your body.

All information presented here has been gathered from many sources online and I cannot prove 100 percent accuracy without actually knowing all the facts straight from the manufacturer. I am not saying to not patronize the company that makes Splenda since they do make many other products that are great. just use your best judgment and do some of your own research as well when making important lifestyle changes.

Disclaimer: I make no representation regarding the accuracy of the information gathered. There has been reports of many people suffering negative effects of consuming products containing sucralose so is that a coincidence or not. Like with many products, some feel the benefits outweigh the risks, same goes with medication.
