My J key has just come off and the lever things are inside the key and I can't put it back on... how do I???

@MeLoNhEadSeb Hey, no sweat. Looking at the scissor mechanism, find the end of it that looks like it snaps onto the keycap. Take the tip of a knife and slip it between the scissor mech and the keycap until it pops free. Then, proceed to replace it on the keyboard.

I did everything that you said any my keys wont stay on. After I hit them about 3 times the pop back up and I have to do it all over again. STUPID DOG STEPPED ON MY KEYBOARD. it wasnt on the floor i just have a big dog the jumps on tables

Big Thankx! My son's cap lock came off and we've been trying for months to put it on - you gave me the knowledge because the white piece came off inside the key - I didn't know to take it off and put it back on first until I watched how you did it! Awesome! Saved us an unneeded trip to a repair shop with out VERY limited income right now.
