Wally was a bit of a percussion pioneer, really. Specific to 1 or 2-person rock/pop acts like Timbuk 3, that is.

@jonnylag That's Wally Ingram. And absolutely, yes, things got better when Wally came along.
-
sort of the best band ever
-
@kimbaptise you can get the whole ACL performance on a new cd that's just been released on the SB United label. "Will You Still Love Me" is on the disc!
-
@fleetwd1 you said it all. Thanks.

Great song. Nice percussion by the guy in Mork and Mindy spacesuit. He looks a bit like a young Paul Mcartney. Anyways IMHO what he's playing sounds way better than a crappy drum machine.

A hidden gem - Thank you Timbuk 3!

A group that had all of what it takes. If others did not see it they were blind. Calling them one hit wonders, makes me wonder if they heard them at all. True greatness in sound, in lyrics and consistanly putting out incredible music. The CD Big Shot in the Dark is only one of many fantastic CDs from start to finish. Sunshine both versions, Border Crossing, Mudflap Girl, Dady's Down in the Mine. need I say more. I am glad to see pat mAcdonald still doing great music. I had lost track.

Is that Wally on percussion? Great stuff!

thanks for posting. been in the audience then... that was where the Zivildienst-money went to...

Wow. Thanks for this. I miss Timbuk3. They left a HUGE hole that's no one's filled. I think if they hadn't had the hit "My Futures so Bright" more people would know the rest of their music.
