Automated Window Machinery announces the release of the AMP-C255-H Automated Multi-Station Fabrication Center. This revolutionary system allows unitized curtainwall manufacturers to fabricate multiple features on a pair of mating vertical mullions simultaneously greatly reducing cycle time, and improving accuracy. The machine features independently controlled punching stations and a "quick change" die system to allow multiple part configurations and punching options. Each punch station features its own self contained hydraulic system and digital position read-out. The entire system is controlled by an easy to use touch-screen PC. "Parts like these have historically been produced one at a time on CNC Machining Centers with a cycle time of three to seven minutes", says Tom Whitehead, President of Automated Window Machinery. "The new AMP-C255-H is able to process a pair of extrusions in less than twenty seconds saving manufacturers an incredible amount of time", continued Whitehead.
