Tutorial - Emergency Live Intro by Paramore

This is a how to video for the introduction of Paramore's song "Emergency" Live Version. Hopefully this is easy enough for everyone to follow. This is my first attempt at a piano tutorial so be easy. I don't guarentee that this is 100% accurate but it's pretty close I believe to the way Hayley plays it on the "Final Riot" CD/DVD. Good luck!

oh and just a quick question, do you have the sustain pedal on the whole time you play? or if not, in what parts?

yes and no. the sustain pedal is on for the whole song but it is lifted between each section (i.e. everytime the left hand changes positions) if you look down at my right foot you should be able to see when i lift it.. :)

@marysa54 My piano teacher gave me a great suggestion, which is to write out both the right and left hand on top of each other like they have on sheet music, or just look up the sheet music.

Doing this will enable you to see what each hand needs to be doing, and when. Also, it helps to practice one hand at a time and split the song into sections.
