  • I agree with him completely. A very similar trend happened the first time skateboarding got popular. everyone wanted to do it to be cool and get rich/famous so you had all these posers and douchebags everywhere making the scene stale and repetitive not pushing the boundaries of creativity at all. When those trends died out the only people that started skating or kept skating where the people who truly loved it and helped it progress. Nowadays both are popular and you have mainstream prima donas.

  • @pinkcheesevatos you are SO STUPID if you think Moby's music is crap!!!

  • Thanks for uploading this great video.

  • Moby is a fucking genius artist, between his music/photography/philantropy & veganism i've top respect for this guy. Pretty sure he offers free downloads too of his music, John Frusciante is the only other guy i know that i'd put on par with him (Ex RHCP guitarist)

  • Gonna party like it's 1999!

  • @ThePsychShack in 1999 albums were the best thy did not suck , 1999 was the peak year for music!? if he released play this year it doesent sell because people's taste has changed , now we have bad music not in 1999.

  • i lovvvveeeeeee moby's music especially porcelain my fav

  • So this must be why mm hates Moby. Moby is cool, mm is a dick!

  • Even though I don't listen to Moby's music, I have much respect for the guy because he is one of the FEW real artists out there

  • @lonnieljones hey rather persuade them to sell music with extremely limited quality or lend them twards the obvious wrong direction. The major labels are the main issue here. You can't possibly sign a deal unless you put your own integrity aside. Some indie labels with such distributers are getting even more insecure.Massive exposure for nothing but more of that;the result consists of nothing but filling the pit without noticing it's deth limits

  • Labels rip off the artists! Plain and simple.

  • I sure hope that he's not talking about mainstream music, because mainstream music as played on the radio and TV SUCKS nowadays. Also he's contradicting himself and talking crap because he's talking about 1999 albums sucking, uhhhh he released the album "play" which was a booming success in that year!
