The Village Green Preservation Society and this song in particular is as good as any of the stuff put out by the Beatles, the Stones, the Who, the Yardbirds, and any other band from that period. I hope to God they're in the rock and roll hall of fame and if not it's a sin

woke up this morning with this song in my head. The Kinks are probably the most underrated band in 1960's UK rock history IMO. Songs that are catchy and have a great meaning behind them.
