OccupyDC President Obama Motorcade Goes past us.
My wife is yelling at everyone that the President is coming. Jacob Dean (Producer of the liberal radio/internet ~ soon to be on Current TV ~ show is the first person running to the motorcade with a sign.

@Pluvious13 Yes of course it is. Obvious to see. Does that make it right? In a republic of laws and not men, the man in the office is not important. There is a very long line if people ready to step into that office should even the worst case of nuclear war occur. The nation went over 200 years functioning just fine, even after losing what .... 3 holders of that office to human hands, and about the same to sickness. The nation will survive just as it already has. We're creating a cult figure.

@TalksWithDirt : These are designed to protect the President from people with guns. The reason you have so many cars is to make it impossible to tell which one the President is in. They'd have to shoot at every single one.
And @Wilhelm1958DC : They're spaced out so that if somebody fires a gun security has time to subdue him (usually a he) before he can shoot at the next one.

That motorcade is obscene. We've turned the president into a king. Nobody rates that kind of parade.

Our tax money at work! Why so many motorcycles? Why are they spaced apart like that? To give even the dumbest of shooters time to load the damn thing. This is sloppy, shoddy and incompetent security. Someone needs to tighten this up.

I'm sure the secret service knew we were there, so I'm guessing Obama probably did know.... there was a van packed with people that didn't look like security, so I'm guessing he was busy entertaining ... to be honest.. Fat Cats.
