5 Stars. Those are 1000 Watts RMS right?

How does it sound with 1/4th the power? Why is the box so big.? I thought they needed little space to port.

They sound great overall. I made the box big because I knew I'd be working with limited power...bigger box = more efficient, but less mechanical power handling.

Thanks for replyin. What would you recommend for loudness? 2 of these subs about 300 RMS each or 1 Fi SSD 10" on 600 Watts rms and maybe upgrade amp for about 1000watts?(In box tuned to 34 HZ)

It'd be hard for the single SSD to overcome the cone area advantage of the two IXL's. I've heard both subs...I prefer the sound of the IXL's, and I'm sure running two would give you more output than a single SSD of the same size.
