@TheMightOfTheEnglish Exactly! Thirty six million soviets died. Millions more could have, if America and Britian didn't send 150,000 AFVs, 360-450,000 men to fight in Normandy and save their asses. Also, remember how Stalin begged the U.S and England for help!

@TheMightOfTheEnglish Exactly so. Typical Russian military tank divisions lacked a single working tank (out of seven!) Typical soviet designs (including the appalling, overly biased T-34) had ammunitions exposed, horrible optics and bad transmission problems (excluding the T-26 which was an excellent British designed machine, and BT-7, and excellent American machine.)

@catalinux007leiro Insignificant? Really? You, my friend, are the biggest failure in history. Please note that Russians were easily slaughtered due to their incompetence. Their lack of tank cores with actual working tanks (1 division of 7 tanks, by Barbarossa had no more than 2 of those 7 tanks working!) Russia lost 36 MILLION MEN. It was America who invaded Normandy, liberated most of France and did so in Italy as well. (though, Italy was a failure in the end.)

@TheMightOfTheEnglish Lastly, as I said before, it was the United States that planned the Normandy invasion/Italian invasion. If it weren't for us, it would be likely that Russia would've fallen within months.

@TheMightOfTheEnglish About France? The British ran to Dunkerque, leaving behind 150,000 French men who died and fought for their escape. Also, Operation Barbarossa started in 1941. Not 1940. In 1940, Russia was still an ally of Germany's. Finally, America was the one who invaded Italy with the British, and even then, was the lead in the invasion.

@TheMightOfTheEnglish Well, that is an agreeable statement - But let us not forget the fact that Hitler refused the order to attack Moscow directly in November of 1941. He waisted precious time, enabling the Russian Red Army of the East to regroup their forces and move west (Japan never attacked.) Also remember that if it weren't for the superior Grant/Shermans/American industry, it would be likely for Britain to lose North Africa.

@TheMightOfTheEnglish For the record? We fought Japan - Britian did very little but protect their territories/send two large warships to their grave. America was the one who easily dominated Japan. (Japan proper radar/fire control, making most surface ships, including IJN Yamato, useless when up against America's world beating warships.) Secondly, who won the battle of Midway, Guadalcanal, The Philippines and so on so forth? We did. Alone.

@TheMightOfTheEnglish American convoys brought everything, from food to tank. If it weren't for our supplies, both England and Russia would've easily fallen. By 1942, America sent everything from food to clothes to the Russians. Do remember that!

@TheMightOfTheEnglish Secondly? It was the United States that led the charge on D-Day and Italy. We planned Operation Overlord - Not the British. Lastly, the Germany's fighter/rocket development was all but destroyed due to American bombers. Only a few German jet models ever got out by 1944.

@TheMightOfTheEnglish Actually, it was thanks to the United States that Britain survived. Sure, she did help defeat the Germans, but not without an ally. Secondly, Germany wasn't even entirely into the idea of an Atom bomb. By 1943-44, they were more thinking of a dirty bomb, dropped over New York with radioactive materials. It would then detonate over the city, spreading poison, making many sick. They never even came close to the Manhattan project.
