I watched 30 Days of Night and Blade in the last 2 days and I thought I could make myself a vampire using Adobe After Effects. I took Andrew Kramer's Face Warp tutorial and just modified it a little.

What they did on buffy was basically shoot the scene with the actor wearing no prosthetics, then again with the actor wearing the prosthetics. Then they basically did a simple "morph effect" going from 1 shot to the other. The technique used in this is completely different.
