The Making of "Seven"

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at the recording of my song "Seven". I recently found this footage on an old Hi8 tape and so I threw a little editing magic at it and now it's a nice little video to watch and give you some insight into my low-tech recording process in 2003.

Did you take any classes on Music Production if so where I interested in the field because my cousin is a professional mix artists who has won several Grammies and a Platinum record for his work

I'm lucky, it all comes very easily for me and I'm very grateful for that!

Nice to see a DIY recording artist. Still, how in hell do you afford all that equipment?

It's all pretty cheap stuff, the drums are the most expensive, but I've played drums all my life. The bass I got when I was 17 for $200, and the same year I got the 4-track recorder used for $300. I had various part time jobs, nothing special. Then when I was 22 or 23 I got that mic and the electric guitar, which are still pretty crappy.
