  • a backhoe loader like this cost 119,000$ used. with the amount of fabrication along with a new engine?. 50,000$+ easily. so lets say around 170,000$ and you went 17.1. it cost you 1,000$ each second during that run. for the sake of pride of being the first, i'd rather be the first to run a twin turbo excavator and still be useful for companies

  • @ksek09, interesting facts. However, this vehicle was built and owned and operated by JCB equipment whom I'm sure has the ability and resources to do it without breaking their bank account. This backhoe serves as a very memorable promo vehicle for the JCB brand and I'm willing to bet that $170k is a drop in the bucket of their advertising budget.

  • "Git er' done!"

  • "now if we had a backhoe fleet like this one in every council road depo, we'd finally see some progress made for repairing our main road!" ...lolz wake's up dreaming... :)

  • @ps2knutz even if it was as fast you can't use it for digging

  • I hate getting stuck behind a slow jcb when I'm driving

    say what?

  • I'll dig it quick John Deere

  • @ps2knutz duh it's FWD

  • @MatthewBanchero its called "Tractor Steering" , you use two brake pedals to create drag on either rear wheel thus allowing you to steer. Every backhoe I have ever seen had two brake pedals , and a little lock thingy so you can use them together as one pedal or use them seperately.

  • How does he steer? That was crazy!!!

  • @ksek09 you are really a dick in the mud, if you are trying to figure out the cost of an entertainment event!
