Last year, I started the Weed Out Hate Initiative that calls upon children from all over the world to each root out a symbolic weed for expressing the global desire to eradicate hatred. I'm still in school, and I was the luckiest kid ever today, this man Peter Yarrow came to MY school, and sang this song to an auditorium full of 400 kids, I was sittting in the auditorium booth in tears, I'm not even a bully and NEVER would be, but still, this was so inspirational......we had all the kids singing along, waving arms high..... such a great sight to see,this really gets to your heart and affects the way you think about bullying. Spread Peter Yarrow's legend,and don't laugh at me...

I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine. Peter has a program called Operation Respect, it's based on this song. We have brought OR to Ukraine and are working with the children here. He already has implemented it in schools in the US (as some of you have mentioned) and now it is spreading. I have met him, he is amazing. This is one of the greatest things I have ever worked on in my life. I cry every time I hear this song. It's amazing how it transcends cultures and reaches every one.

this is a steve sexstin song. peter has added some "extra" verses...but its more the pwerful for it. should be manditory in every classroom in america.
