@jfkjrlover I think you haven't been watching much TV - have you just awakened from a cryogenic sleep? Most TV shows written by BOTH men AND women characterize women as smart & men as buffoons who couldn't wipe their own noses. There is more male bashing now than there was at the height of the bra-burning era. I defend them because I LIKE THEM for the most part. Yes, there are real jerks, but H.Reid is SUCKING UP to the female voting block just to get reelected. You just have a personal problem.

If my own observations have proven anything to me, it's that there is a lot of disdain & animosity from men toward women. All you need to do is read comments online & pay attention to how male tv show creators characterize women; you'll see it's rare to find one who respects or defends women. Why defend them?
