The 75th Ranger Regiment (Airborne) is a military unit of the United States Army. The Regiment, headquartered in Fort Benning, Georgia, operates as an elite light infantry special operations force of the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) .

The Regiment is composed of rapidly-deployable light infantry forces with specialized skills that enable them to perform a variety of conventional and special operations missions airborne, air assault, and direct action operations, raids, infiltration and exfiltration by air, land or sea in addition to airfield seizure, recovery of personnel and special equipment, and support of general purpose forces (GPF), among other uses. Each Ranger battalion is expected to deploy anywhere in the world within 18 hours notice.

  • The 2nd Commando Regiment of the Australian Regular Army has been training with these guys for the last few years. The 75th Rangers seem like level headed guys. Kind regards from down under.

  • @vaper1986 You are possibly even more essential and important than they are. They can't go without working equipment. It might not sound as cool, but it deserves our respect nonetheless.

  • 2:06 the 160th SOAR is soo good...it's stuck in the air. Awesome. 

  • i want to be a corpsman in the navy, and if i do alright i will attemt and hopefully succeed at the rangers
