The best part of this video was the birds and outdoors chirping away while you narrated your video. Just added the final touch it needs to make it a true outdoorsman vid. Good job.

As an Esbit stove user, I like your improvised stove. A couple things I would suggest: If you shave a little of the fuel off, it's easier to light with a ferro rod. If you lined your stove with a piece of aluminum foil, it would have burned hotter, and not caught the wood on fire. I take small packets of handi-wipes with me, and they are good for wiping the residue off the bottom of your cup. Covering your cup would have given a rolling boil in about 8 minutes with one cube.

The esbit cubes burn out alot faster in the wind....i usually break a tablet in half and use half at a time....it works great for me...nice vid..thanks..

How long does each block burn for roughly?

Another great vid.
Well that fire starter is certainly a sufficient way of lighting a fire. And probably good if you wanna light up a bit wet timber wood. But for me I still use my little flint steel. Its small efficient and I am completely independent no need of carrying extra weight in form of fuel blocks.

@brockpierce1984 I agree with that, but these fuel tabs are a lightweight and cheap way of getting some water boiling without startinga a fire. So if you were on the run or did not want to bring attention to yourself it is convinent, plus It was $5 for a box. thanks for the comment.

Just a tip--you could pop that Esbit tablet into an old tuna or pet food can and save the ground a bit.
Also--the Northern Mockingbird singing in the background is great--gives the vid a nice outdoor feel.
