@ncumar You made an awesome statement - yes we can't get another MSV. MSV himself said that he doesn't deliberately choose any raga unless the situation demands...if u see any resemblance then it's purely coincidental...whatever it is...I love his spontaneity which I haven't seen in any other MD be it tamil, telugu or hindi!

MSV's songs are based on divine Karnatic ragas and they are simply out of the world. His interludes are so sweet that when ever hear them I am swept off my feet to a different world. We can get one more Rahman or Ilaiyaraja but not MSV.

what a beautiful duet from our mellisai mannar msv, especially the piece after the first pallavi which is edited in the audio version is lovely! ( many old songs particularly msv's had different versions for film and radio, for example : repeating the same line twice or a hummimg or an extra stanza etc;)
