so if i have a floyd that goes into the body also i have to block it to use this?

one question, when restringing the guitar, should you just keep the d-tuna in? and with tuning the new strings up and tuning in d, wouldn't the other strng go sharp because of unstability? or isn't that a problem because it isn't floating?

Hi, I installed mine, and it workes finde, but i have a question... when i'm in the E position, I can see like 2 milimeters of the balck screw, is that fine? cos i don't remember exactly why but i had to change the shorter one for the large one. Thanks

cool, frankenstein did you make it.

Does this work with floyd rose special?
-
can you use properly the floyd rose with that installed? i mean the dtuna is kinda long and it looks like the range of pushing the floyd is kinda small what do you think?
-
No, it's not a floating bridge, i've tried both screws and found the longer of the two works properly, but my other strings still go out of tune.
I did all this and when i put the tuner into the "E" position, all the other strings go flat. When i put it back in "D" all the other strings go back back to correct tuning. How do i rectify this?

@ads1508 is your bridge floating? you want to have the bridge set for dive only, make sure there is enough tension on the springs and the bridge is not moving when you push the D tuna in and out

what am i supposed to do if i only get a half step drop? I am positive i am doing everything right when i use the d tuna, but in the out position when its D, it will only go up to an E flat in the in position. I have an 84 original floyd rose, and i dont see why that would be the problem, am i doing something wrong?

@AmericanMetalGuitar sounds like you need the longer screw, the D tuna comes with two screws, a small and large one, depending on the guitar you might need either screw, it sounds like you need to install it with the longer screw, just take the old one out and put the bigger one in, then adjust from there. That should clear it up.

DOES THIS WORK ON A FLOATING FLOYD ROSE OR JUST THE FLOYD ROSE THAT IS FLAT AGAINST THE BODY?

@JDNDVS no it can work on a floating trem, you can make it float with a tremolo stabilizer, you can also block the trem with a trem stopper. Also you can have a bridge not on the body, sitting on the posts but still blocked, best way is the trem stopper.
