@MallardSX2 Apperantly your not familiar with the facts of burtchering an animal. You will not go to a butcher shop and find on one farm animal that was gutted at the farm and hauled to the butcher shop. They ALWAYS leave the guts in because its the absolute best way to keep the meat clean from hair and other things. If you knew anything about how animals are butchered you would not have stated that comment. Deer you can gut in field, but this was to show how to do it like a butcher shop would.

for a bunch of young guys it's clear you were taught hunting ethics and the way it should be done. OUTSTANDING!!!

Is a Flintlock hard to use? I was thinking of going out with one because I still have my buck tag

@HeavyDutyWMD Its all in ones mind. If you understand how to use one they are easy to use. As with anything, practice makes you a better shot.

all them young boys you invited to your grandfather's property, and you had him skin that deer? Maybe some coaching or something, but between the whole lot of you? Really? That goes to show you watch hunting shows. You guys watch on TV how to get them, but they don't show what to do after you pull the trigger on the outdoor channel.

@livin2bright My grandfather wanted to be on camera skinning it himself. His decision and his way. And no, the assumption that people who watch tv hunting dont know anything is far from the truth.
