Tallest Vertical Drop Fun Ride

The Giant Drop at Dreamworld, Queensland, Australia, drops from a height of 119 m (390 ft), giving riders five seconds of free fall time before being brought to a halt by electromagnetic brakes. The ride, which is as tall as a 30-storey building, opened on 26 December 1998 and cost AU$12 million (£4.5 million or US7.4 million)!

i went on this when i was 12, the way up was so fun. but then waiting up there, all i kept saying was 'when when when is it going to drop' then it did, it gives you the weirdest feeling, i was so scared, but its an amazing ride, i love it.

I wonder if one day they will make one that when you go up, you're facing down but then the seats flip so when you drop you're looking at the sky.
