Building a Kydex Press

This is a video of me building a home made kydex press. You can order one from knifekits.com but postage to the UK is a joke and there's nowhere here to buy one! If you make one yourself make sure the material is suitable and has a high melting point, I used neoprene foam which is NOT the same as neoprene!

I am crap at woodwork, I always have been! Doesn't look pretty but hopefully it'll work OK, we shall see! :)

@fuzydoo I sort of agree here. I mean, nice work and all, but wouldn't a SIMPLE press work, where you just took the two flat piece of wood and the foam, and then used four wood clamps on the corners? But again, well done!

Thought it was nice, I myself was to lazy to do such thing like this. I myself just did foam, put a lil glue in between the pieces to hold it together, glue it to the wood. Then when I need to do some kydex work, I just heat it up, put my fire arm or knife etc in between the two pieces and just clamp it tight. Works amazing and only takes like 4 mins to do.
