you know i think that by watching this movie as a little kid and especiaally king louie influenced me to pursue a life in conservation

For the chap who thinks it's racist for an African American to sing that he wants to be just like a white boy, I think that's pretty far fetched even before one is reminded that Louis Prima was a white guy, and he just always sang like that. But nothing in the original tales of a wilderness in India, nor the animated adaptation, begs to think of a talking orang as being comparable to an African American. I'm having trouble even imagining how anyone could accidentally think that!

@GiantMidget69 how is this racist?
-
king louie isn't an african american. he's a ficticious monkey in a ficticious jungle. if it's racist, i don't know if you could say for certain it was intentional- not that disney doesn't have a questionable history in regards to its cartoons and racist content. just look at deleted scenes from fantasia for that eye-rolling experience.

@GiantMidget69 Technically their Indians.
