it seems to me that a private school should be allowed to require their staff to act to certain standards, i don't think it would be a big deal if a school asked their staff to refrain from drunken behaviour, profanity, etc. and it does seem that that's kinda the direction this school is trying to go, they're not banning homosexuals outright, just asking them to, you know, not do that schtuff. Plenty of workplaces have contracts, and it's up to you to decide whether it's worth it or not.

Why are people coming down so hard on the school? They are funded from the government in any way and their ideals are set up around their religion and as such they set up specific rules for people who want to enroll at their institution. If you people dislike it then stay away from them they aren't troubling anybody and they aren't breaking any laws as far as i'm concerned those SPECIFIC rules are based off their beliefs and as such should be respected even if you don't like them.
