"Don't open the door on stage which leads to the mechanic room. That door being open will complicate things for both players. If the mystery box is any of those rooms in that direction, open the door under lobby stairs to the left.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO THE DISTANCE UNLESS YOU HAVE 5 HOURS TO BURN WITH NO RESPONSIBILITIES. You will only be able to take care of any business you have at home during crawler time and this will be frustrating for your teammate to endure. You shouldn't try this unless you have solitude and your family won't abruptly bother you.
HOW TO GET STARTED: ROUNDS 1-10
Hold up in the lobby with just your hand gun until you are both over run or one of you run out of ammo. Rush and open both doors on the upstairs path to the MP40 room; both of you get them. Someone stays in the MP40 room and another goes back upstairs to the squared trap room; watch the window behind you and keep your line of sight down the path towards the lobby. If the square room player runs out of ammo, call it out and get support for an ammo run back to the MP40 room downstairs. For the first dog round, hang by the Speed Cola machine and don't be afraid to move a bit. When you can't hold it together in those 2 rooms, open the dressing room and open the next door into the theater. Turn on the power and link the Teleporter. By now your priority is to get juggernog and PAP your handgun. Get Juggernog on your way to the lobby.
HOW TO MAKE LOTS OF POINTS: ROUNDS 10-25ish
Do what you see in the video. 1P circles the turret creating a horde. The 2P hangs back by the claymores and shoots into the crowd with his MP40 or M16. The 2P should switch to his M16 if he's gonna stay back there because of easy access to more ammo off the wall. When the 1P is running low on MP40 ammo, he can make an ammo run all the way around the map from the theater, to the lobby, to the MP40 room, to the dressing room and back to the turret to do his lap. During the 1P ammo run the 2nd player can do laps around the turret until he returns. The 1P is going to get the most points and is thereby most likely to get the Thunder Gun. When P1 has a good 20-30K points and P2 is has enough for at least 5 hits; make a crawler and go to the mystery box. Both of you are trying to get the Thunder Gun and Monkeys. If P2 gets the Thunder Gun, then he will switch rolls with player P1 and run laps around the turret. Who ever is by the claymores on the back of the stage, they need a ray gun or Awful Lawton (PAPed Crossbow) to go along with their M16. The decision to go to the mystery box should be based on how many points you BOTH have and how effective Mustang and Sally are
Ideally P1 has the Thunder Gun and MP40 and P2 can have these different combinations: M16 & Ray Gun, M16 & Awful Lawton or Ray Gun & Awful Lawton. The Ray Gun PAPed will not be useful eventually, the Awful Lawton will always have it's purpose. The MP40 and M16 are money makers; they get you points that can be saved up to mystery box, set traps and re buy perksif necessary.The Thunder Gun, Awful Lawton and Ray Gun are ass savers because of their power and tactics. If no Thunder Gun is found, settle for the ray gun which is better than Mustang & Sally. If no Ray Gun is found, don't switch out Mustang & Sally.
HOW TO GO THE DISTANCE: ROUNDS 25-Bitter End
There are 2 different rolls with our strategy to survive roughly rounds 25+. The Thunder Gun man does circles on and off the stage around the turret herding zombies into a group while the 2nd player tries to survive in the back of the stage. Occasionally the 2nd player should link zombies chasing him to the Thunder Gun man by joining the turret circle. The 2P can take the lead, which makes the Thunder Gun guy get most of the attention before the 2P branches back off to the back of the stage. Always keep 10K saved in case you get downed and need to get your perks back and for money to Pack-A-Punch an ass saver.
Eventually your weapons with the exception of the Thunder Gun will not be killing the Zombies. Choose when you are bored saving up points and P1 can start taking the hordes of zombies on laps around the map into traps. The middle trap in the square room is the best, the last trap in the dressing room trap is good and the first trap in the lobby isn't good. Alternate between the middle and dressing room traps after herding the zombies in the theater. Continue this until you both die or until you want to end it all like me and IGYMFalconsWing did.
We have both retired from doing this marathon, especially for the risk of the leader boards being reset over another attempt or a shorter fun 4 player game."
Why on earth didnt you keep going to level 50? That sounds alot better 47. So much effort and well played. Its all about the numbers lool.
