Performed by:
Steve Lugovsky (Dracula)

Deric Gochenauer (Arthur Homewood)
Mark Stickney (Jack Seward)
Brendan Foley (Quincy Morris)

LYRICS:
----------------------------------------------
DRACULA: She is already mine, you have lost You put up a heroic fight Run away while you can, or you'll die How dare you challenge my might? Your wasted years led nowhere powerless old fool

VAN HELSING: She will never be yours
mark my word I won't let you take mina's life Your life is at an end, We won't grieve for somebody's daughter or wife. This world has seen some monsters
but not one so cruel

BOTH:
It's Over
It's Over
The Battle's done
Why don't you just surrender to me?
You must know I have won
It's over
All over
Deep down you know
There is no sign of victory
only my fatal blow

DRACULA:

You keep your stupid heads
in your books
but its done you no good at all
You are still in the dark
endless dark..

VAN HELSING:
I can't wait to be there when you fall
Think of all the lives you've taken
Evil to the core!

DRACULA:
I still have hundreds of years
left to live
and there's rivers of blood out there
You'll be long dead by then
all you men
only live for a few desperate years
You waste those years by praying
I have so much more...

BOTH

It's over
It's over
The Battle's done
Why don't you just surrender to me?
You must know I have won
It's over
All over
Deep down you know
There is no sign of victory
only my fatal blow

VAN HELSING:

Soon you will be facing death
Make the most of your last breath

DRACULA:

All your life you've lived a lie
Every day I live you die
I will kill you if I must

VAN HELSING:

I'll soon watch you turn into dust

BOTH:

It's over
It's over
The Battle's done
In time you'll surrender to me
You can see I have won
It's over
All over
Your heart must know
There is no sign of victory
only my fatal blow
Very soon we will know
Which of us has to go...

  • Can anyone put up the lyrics to this? I love it, but I can't make out the acutal words...

  • I always wondered what this song would sound like in english, and I can say I wasn't disappointed. My only comment is the music needs to be a little louder. I can't hear that much of it between the singing pitch.

  • Best song in the whole production in my opinion. Too bad the audio isn't as good as I'd like.

  • I have several audio recordings of this play. Five in English and one in German and I will soon have the Japanese version but for my collection it was maddening that none of the English recordings I had contained this song (as this song didn't get added until later). I have the Tom Hewitt demos, the Douglas Sills demos, the Guy LeMonnier demos, a live recording, the English language concept album and the German cast album. And it was maddening that I couldn't find this song in English.

  • I'm just sad that this song wasn't in the Broadway version when I saw this back in 2004. Thanks for uploading this. It was driving me insane that I could only find this in German or Japanese but since the song was added to the play after the first Broadway run it didn't exist until now. I wish I could have heard Tom Hewitt sing this.

  • Cool! I love Zu Ende and I didn't know there was an English version. Nice work!

  • @cigarsnmartinis I am looking forward to it! :D
