  • This was great news. This will help those rural areas where broadband isn't there and help expand Internet to farmers. WHOOT! I was hoping for this. :)

  • Yeah, this is a relatively cheap way to provide truly nationwide broadband coverage. I had hopes that powerline broadband would take off, but the ham radio crowd keeps blocking that.

  • All of the 'community' types who were die-hard Obamaphiles will have a VERY rude lesson in the role of campaign finance, when the Obama FCC overturnes the previous FCC's decision, with respect to white space. Why do you think the Beyoncés & Chris Matthewses were so gushy about Obama? Their masters in the NAB and other media lobbies threw more money at Obama's campaign than Google, Microsoft, &c.--they'll get their money's worth.
