It's either a bad belt, or the alternator is dying. A tune-up is recommended. My mom's van wouldn't start once, my dad started the van, and started to stall out, but he made it to Bonus Tire, and I was late for school... :(

well the prob was fixed by just cleaning the carb :D

i think u have a automatic rev controll if so thats why it revs up by it self if not its the EEC Electronic Engine Control

ok the fuel isnt going into the engine, check fuel filter, and ask someone to press down on the carburator box while starting!
i also have a problem and i need some advice, on nuetral its revs up by its its self and rarely goes back down again.

check your distributor and the fuel pump... that will be enough to have a great start...
