I love my E36 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 9.4HP in the 328i. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

Well mate I think it could be Rover, the company which they collaborated cuz u can see technical similarities with the rover 620 mostly, engine 2.3 same as the 91-95 prelude for the US 160hp ..same All wheel steering system ..and others..;)

@tija5 ye i had a 2259 cc prelude myelf, one thing that turned hatred against japanese cars is boy racers over rating them and the rest the stuff they do with them, ye german cars do rule, ye the japanese do know what they are doing, a very long time ago, japanese got there skills from a brittish car compoany, i think it was rover but it mightv been another brittish one

@abmilzo well, that is your opinion ..I drove a 1.8 integra and an s2000 little tuned ..about 255 horsepower and still man u have to admit ..the japanese know what the're doing. But still I am a european so for me ..German cars rule..;)
